I bought a used (one owner - the Gruhn's employee who sold it to me) '94 Heritage Golden Eagle in the fall of 1998; it's my go-to guitar for jazz, and I've never had any regrets.

I bought my new 535 from a dealer in Kalamazoo last November. Had it been a Wednesday, I would have tried to work the tour into my schedule. I really love the guitar. It was my choice over many Gibson 335's I tried. I'm not saying one is better, but what I purchased was better than anything else I tried here in Chicago.
