I have been debating picking up the Maz 38 and one just come up for sale on CL in my area. $1050, in mint condition. It is a NR an looks like its about 3 years old. That seems like a smoking deal to me....is it? Denver CRaiglist Maz 38

i would say not a bad deal. however, depending on what you want, older combos can be had for that or less... I bought a 38 Invasion 2x12 combo for that price and I know others have gotten them even cheaper. For the newer heads that price is not bad, but if you'd be ok with a "vintage" model and waiting for it, there are better deals to be had!!
and you won't regret the Maz 38. They're phenomenal!!

Yes yes yes...
You've been posting a lot of questions on the forum about a 2nd amp...headroom...volume..tone...etc. Go try it out and see for yourself. (I'm sure you'll be pleased)
A current production amp, three years old for 50% off??...yes, it's a deal. Go get it. If you don't like it after a while, you can sell it for that price.

^^^ I agree with John and Frank. For a newer Maz 38 it is very good deal. Does this one have the EQ bypass?

I missed it! Spent too much time thinking about it and it is sold. I do have a guy that was interested in trading me his Route 66 for one of my G&L's, but I don't think it work as well for me as the 38.
