We traded head and cab shells..... I went from black/cream to red/cream. I've always liked redheads better ... I married one too.

Man, you have got to get a matching suit! Den you be nationwide! Seriously, that is a great looking rig. Hope you have cases or at least heavy duty covers when you gig out with it.

The key to the louder/softer thing is placing the head slightly off-center like that. If it's smack-dab in the center the vibrations are too uniform and even and balanced, so the sound is a bit quieter. But if you place it an inch or two to one side it disrupts the symmetrical vibration patterns and makes a real messy resonance that results in more volume. . . . NOT.

Just kidding ;D Ya know...... When looking at the pic after I snapped it, I thought to myself, "Self..... that head is off center, but I doubt anyone will pay that much attention and if they do they probably won't say anything". Guess I won't be talking to my self any more, or at least I won't be giving myself any adivce.

I put mine back together late last night. Didn't take long, but when your dealing with the stuff all day long it's kinda the last thing ya wanna do when ya get home. LOL I really like the Black/Blonde tolex. It matches my Burgundy/Cream 65amps London MUCH better. I kinda consider the 2 amps a team, the London for dirty AC15 and Marshall 18 Watt and the Ray for the best Vox cleans on the planet. They're my British team. LOL The red just didn't look right with the rest of my stuff. Thanks again telejas!!!!! +1 for a great transaction.

It's funny, never thought much about it but I'm a perfectionist when it comes to placing the head on the cabinet. It's got to be just right side to side, front to back. OCD?
