Yes, it is a good review.
I was really interested to see (and hear) how little treble he used. I've always heard that "treble is trouble," but all the players around here use treble and somehow make it work.
Even with the treble down, the boost was not overpowering. But, he did have one of those new variable foot-switches and I'm not sure where that was set. (I'll be glad when next week is here so I can get one!)

Excellent review! I only wish he would have used a Les Paul. After watching that, I wanted to buy one, but then I realized... oh yeah!

I keep flipping between various approaches to setting the eq. Sometimes, I have T and B all the way down, bring up Mid and then set T and B. Other times, put 'em all at max and back down to suit. Then there's just putting them all at noon as a starting point. It's all good!

I was also surprised at how low he had the treble and how high he had the mids. I am planning on trying that out.

I was playing my PRS set up for slide the other night, and ended up with the treble almost completely off, mids dimed and bass at about 10 o'clock. It still sounded great! Gnarly for slide, that's for sure.

I never used the cut on the Maz I had because it seemed too much for me and what I was doing at the time. Really good demo all in all. Definitely not helping with the bloating I am experiencing from all the GAS for this amp!

It's almost impossible to get a bad sound out of my Z-Lux.
