SO, I went to my buddies music store on Saturday. He let me borrow his 'Ray head and a used Z-best cab. He's got a great store with lot's of cool gear (and always a great assortment of Zs) and lots of boutique type amps and guitars. Anyways, I went there certain I was going to come away with a Budda half stack or a Marshall Vintage Modern half stack or maybe a Roccaforte or Savage or even a Suhr Badger. I've never owned a Z or spent a great deal of time with one. Until now.
I spent a long time there trying everything. I came away with the Ray and Z-best. I even only tried it out with a guitar with HBs, but I could tell it was going to be nice regardless of guitar choice. I got it home and found out I was right! I plugged in my Albert Lee. This thing is AMAZING! I am totally impressed with the tones. I have never played an amp that was so dynamic and effected so much by the volume knob on my guitar. I am going to have to learn how to play more with just my volume knob! Straight in this thing is really something. Thanks Doc, for making such a cool amp
Now, if I can just get my buddy to forget that he lent it to me..........any suggestions? ;D

Good thing he's a real good friend - he'll probably let me have it for a good long while. I'm really digging the tone with my AL - I can only imagine what this thing sounds like with Blues or Golds........
