Finally got a chance to test out the Z-Lux live. I had it set in the 40 watt setting and had the V at about 5 treble 6 mids 7 bass 7 and master at about 7 and the Reverb was at about 3. Got some very pristine clean tones very articulate. I used the boost switch as well and the Z-lux sounds real fat. It cut through the mix really good too. The Hammond B 3 organ was pretty loud but the Z -lux Held its own. I think next week I may crank up the volume and bring down the master and see if I can get some more clean headroom. I didn't bring my pedal board either just straight in. And the tone was wonderful. It was good to get back to church and play. I been sick for a couple months but I'm getting better. Still walking with a limp. But thank God to be walking and playing that awesome Z-Lux it's a fantastic amp as you all already know.

A little Lux doing worship, great versatile amp! It really is a versatile amp. I can't wait to do some more experimenting with it. That's one of the reasons I didn't bring effects, I want to get to know the amp a little better first. It sounds so good on its own anyway.

I think you will find more clean headroom by running the master up and the volume control down.

Just a quick update on my Z-Lux gigging experience. I have found that I actually like the amp in the 20 watt setting better. I get plenty of volume and better break up and overdrive at a respectable volume. I played all day Sunday at 2 different churches and the amp performed flawlessly. I tried bringing the treble down and the mids up. Tried a bunch of different settings and couldn't find a bad tone at all. Everything sounded great. The Z-Lux is a awesome amp and the trem is the best I have ever heard! It is better then the trem on my Vibro King! What I really like about the amp is it cuts through so good and it has that fat bottom end if you need it. The Doc really set the bar high with this amp.

That's exactly why it has won so many awards!
