I am thinking about putting two of Docs Z 12's in my Maz 38 combo in place of the stock speakers (Whatever was stock in 2005). Would this take off the high end edge? Would it enhance the sonic bliss of the amp? Will it look Swanky and make me a Chic magnet? Or would this change be minimal at best?

You tell a chic you're packing a pair of 12 inchers, I think curiosity is the natural reaction. Go for it and please report back.

I can tell you, now that my single Z 12" in my Maz 18 is broken in, it sounds like pure heaven. Two of them in a 38 would be bliss. Loud, loud bliss...

How does your glorious White Falcon sound through your Maz 38?

How does your glorious White Falcon sound through your Maz 38? Well, I actually sold the 38 and bought an 18. My 38 had the 2x10, but I ran it with the Z speaker for a while to help break it in. Through both, the Falcon sounds like any majestic bird of prey would sound. I can get U2 and Billy Duffy tones for days. The Falcon through the 18 has just the right amount of bite and sweetness to it.
