Wondering if anyone has been experimenting with speakers. I have a couple of weber alnicos in my vibrolux that break up real smooth and warm and i think i should try them in the maz jr. Has anyone done this with similar speakers?

This week I bought a 6545 which just got delivered yesterday. I love the sound of it so far. I also ordered a Weber Alnico Blue Dog to replace a V30 that I have. I'm anxious to see what the new speaker will sound like with the 6545.

I have a 12" Celestion Blue in mine and I love it! It really brings out the chime and it has a nice edge to it.

I have a Weber alnico blue dog in my 1x12 Ghia, replaced a V30 that replaced a Green back. Sounds pretty good but I don't think it's really broken in yet.

I use a Red Fang in mine and love it. It replaced a G12H30 which I dug too, but there was too much cone cry in the 2 that I tried with the Jr.

For those of you who have made the switch to alnico speakers, have you noticed any loss in clear definition of the bottom end? did it warm up the tone some? I realy like the strong clear bass definition of my amp with 2 ceramic tens, but i would like to warm up the tone some without losing the bass. Maybe a change in rectifier tubes? Anyway- this is by far the best and most versatile amp i have owned.
