Hi Z Lovers,
Just wanted to report that last night we rehearsed for our live concert recording and Jr was awesome. I listen to the playback in the truck and to the tone was great. The engineer was in awe that 18 watts of Jr. sounded like that! Of course I was playing through some very good sounding vintage guitars, but Jr. is the the real deal. I've been playing since 1975 and I've never been more satisfied with my tone, it's pure inspiration. BTW, I've added a new toy to the pedal arsenal that you guys should be aware of it's called Dual Drive and it's made by Pro Analog. It's the best sounding drive box I've ever heard and I've tried them all! It's open, transparent, articulate, dynamic and Phat! Plus it has two channels, some you get just a little hair then you hit it again and you get just a little more! Now who can argue with that.
God Bless, TK

If you haven't tried a Ulbrick Megalodon you haven't tried them all! EJ, Vai and Henderson are just some who have made the Ulbrick discovery.

I just played two pretty big gigs in NYC on Friday and Sat, and the Maz Jr has blown away every other amp I have used. Never has my tone sounded so good, notes seem alive, and full, and responsive to my picking. Not only does iit loves every pedal I can throw at it, it could equally handle my Jazzmaster and Les Paul with no changes in any of the tone controls. Plus it looks cool as hell on stage.
Pretty much was playing it right out of the box, it was delivered Tuesday night, played it for a few hours, packed it up and went out rocking. Had to reseat the tubes last night, gave me a little scare, but after that it was good to go.
I am glad I got the reverb model by mistake becuase I can leave it on and not have to worry about it over powering my sound jsut andding a little extra to the mix.

Same here. I've played my Jr. right out of the box for three years now and I'm still loving it. I did my overdub session for our live CD this past Sunday and Jr. just kept on throwing the heat.
Peace, TK

Hey Z guys, Have had my Maz 18 nr (from Fatsound) for just under 2 months now and I couldn't be happier with the amp. I've been playing non-stop gigs in different kinds of venues since then and this thing is amazingly versatle with just the right amount of power. I play mostly casinos but I play some fairs in the summer and it shines outside and in. Thanks Doc for building this quality of amp for working guys @ this price break.

Got my Maz Jr. on Thursday (1-G 12H), played it for about an hour, took it to the gig on Saturday. The band loved it! The more I played it the more I loved it.
