I have the older non MV Remedy. I use this with a Dr Z 2x12 Cab. Should I buy an Airbrake or get the PPIMV and EQ bypass mod done. I'm based in the UK. I also see that people suggest a cream back for a better tone etc. My cab has a Vintage 30 and G12H. Will the cream back also reduce the volume. I find the current cab a bit HiFi in tone

The creamback M is a 97 db speaker. Both the V30 and H are 100db speakers. 3db may not seem like much, but it's a noticeable reduction in volume. And the Creamback is a great match for the Remedy.
I don't know how much the MV mod costs in the UK. I had an older Remedy and I had the MV mod done, I also have the airbrake. I usually hate master volumes on tube amps. But this one is pretty good. It sort of depends on how much you want to reduce the volume. If you need to reduce a LOT, I'd give the edge to the airbrake/brakelite. If you only need to reduce a little bit, I'd say they're pretty equal.
But if you only need to reduce a little, I'd give the Creamback a try.
Do you run the amp on 20 or 40 watts?

I agree with John. I like the MV on the Remedy. It works well. You would see a definite reduction in overall volume by going to a 1-12 cabinet with a Creamback but if you are looking for bedroom or living room playing volumes you may need the Brakelite or Airbrake. I've never used an attenuator with the Remedy so can't speak to that. In my opion the Creamback is a great speaker choice with the Remedy. Nice clean tones at lower volumes and great crunch.

Thanks for your replies. I think i'd prefer to try the Creamback M in a 1X12 which is about £500 in the uk, the MV mod is £216 and the Airbrake is £319. I only play at my home studio which is 6X4 metres and would like to stop my ears bleeding. I play mostly at 20W.

I don't mean to burst your bubble....but if you're only ever going to play in a 6x4 meter room...you may have purchased the wrong amp. (and not play with a drummer)
You'd be amazed at how loud the Maz 8 or the Z-mini are.

If I could find a buyer in the U.K. I probably would
