I went to my dealer today intending to buy a Timeline, but ended up with the Flint instead. I have been wanting a Z-Lux but couldn't pull the trigger since I have so many great Z's now and I didn't want to sell any. So, the Flint will give me a flavour of the Z-Lux on all my Z's. Looking forward to a couple beers and some noodling on this cool Saturday night

Very nice Keith. I've been wanting this one for a while myself.

Has become an integral part of my board. As good of reverb and tremolo as you could ever want....and extremely variable/tweak-able....from barely noticeable to WAY over the top..... You'll love it!!!

If my M13 ever dies, that (or the Mr. Black) is probably the pedal I'll replace it with. All I ever use anymore is reverb, trem, and a tuner. Congrats.

I find that the reverbs in my Flint are so good that even when I play an amp with on-board reverb I will use the Flint's instead.

Lol...I didn't get a chance to play around with it last night. When I got home I found out that the kids were having an impromptu sleepover downstairs So I won't get any peaceful time until this afternoon.......

I had one, a few months back. I found it amazing... and yet I quickly sold it. It did finally convince me to trade my Therapy for a Z-Lux... This kind of verb and vibe built into a Z Fender flavoured amp became needed.

I regret selling mine. It was such a great pedal and I sold it to try out other stuff.... dumb.

This kind of verb and vibe built into a Z Fender flavoued amp became needed. I've been wanting to order a Z-Lux for a while just for the trem and verb. However I have 8 Zs now that are not used as much as they should so I was a little hesitant to add another. I really don't want to sell any of my Zs as well. So, I figured the Flint in front of all of Zs was the next best thing. Im looking forward to trying it with my Z-Wreck.

I think you figured correctly, cause the Flint sounds great and has 3 kinds of reverbs and 3 kinds of trem, which the Z-Lux hasn't. At the time I ordered my Z-Lux, I was trying (and I'm still trying) to reduce my gear to the minimum, and that includes pedals, so my new configuration better fits my needs.

I bought one a while back and really like it. As others have said, I find the reverb and tremolo sound good to my ears compared to other on-board effects. Not gonna be like a Z-Lux tremolo, but good enough for how often I use tremolo.

Finally got to try it in front of the Z-Wreck. The pedal is delightful. Volume at 9 o'clock on the Wreck with a Tele and it was everything I hoped it would be.
The 3 reverbs are great and you don't have to tweak any parameters (you can fiddle with a couple knobs if you want). The 3 different trems are neat too.
I like that its almost just plug and play. You can just keep everything at noon if you want and just noodle away.

it really is an awesome pedal. congrats! I still like to get crazy with my reverb on the ezg50, but for all of my other amps the flint is amazing.

Great pedal. I've really been liking Strymons stuff. I know it's technically modeling technology but they sound great. Much better than Line 6 in my experience. Line 6 is still usable and they hit a certain market at a reasonable price. But Strymon is a few steps above IMO.

I love the term/reverb combo.......one of my fav pedals I've ever had/tried.

Just picked up one of these today. Lots of snow here in Newfoundland on Friday. Snow clearing on saturday. L&M opened on Sunday. Hmmm. Running it into my M12 and the old Rivera super champ combos turns them into a couple of versatile lower wattage deluxes

I just put an Eventide H9 on my board, but I still have the Flint. I just want it on there for quick verb and trem tones.

I have one on my big board. I haven't found a reverb setting as nice as my Mr Springgy, but it is very versatile and has trem. I tend to use reverb sparingly anyway.

Well, I took the plunge and bought another Flint off of Gear Talk Classifieds on Facebook. Hopefully it'll be here before Christmas....I just miss that 61' harmonic tremolo. It i absolutely the best! Almost like a univibe.

Had this for a few weeks now. Been trying out different settings/modes. 1st time I ever used harmonic trem, never really knew what it was! Think there's a setting on the keeley dynatrem for that. Was going to order the dynatrem or the mr black deluxe plus until I saw the flint here locally. Glad I picked one up. Lots of options

I've been looking for a new Trem and this might be the ticket. I have an old TC Electronic Vintage Trem that I like a great deal, but it's seen better days.

Well I liked the flint so much I decided to sell my Moog MF trem and put the boing reverb on the small board. Fits in nicely. Pleased with this setup.

I have one on a board I use with my non-reverb amps. I love it! Also, I use the Strymon OB-1 for a compressor and clean boost.

Enjoy! Strymon makes great stuff. Buying the Flint and the El Cap ended my modulation pedal search....and that's saying something!

Had the flint for a little while now and I have to say I'm very pleased with it. Great 2 in 1 pedal with lots of options. Posted this because the honeymoon phase is over and I've had some time with it. Anyone on the fence about picking one up should go for it. Like all Strymon pedals, they're a little pricy but there's so much more under the hood than it appears. So many useful tones. Here it is on my board. Strymon taking up a lot of space on my small pedalboard!
