That Celtic design is a tattoo on Joe's arm apparently, and get this.......those weird fret dots actually spells Joe's name in Morse Code.........now THAT is way too cool!
I normally hate gold on guitars, and have never liked gold and silver mixed on anything........but this ax? This just makes it really work!
Oh, and check out the price! I don't know USD but GBP 1,750 for something built to Doozy standards and looking like that??
Absolute steal by Gibby standards these days!

Duesenberg prices are one of the few avantages we have in Europe (guitarly speaking, I hope we have some in other subjects - who said wine? ). They're quite expensive in US.

Pete....I'm thinking this is not the first time you've brought up Duessy guitars..... You KNOW what that usually means, right???

Pete, I knew it wouldn't take much longer. They truly are great guitars and unique in sound compared to the main manufacturers out there. You must just hate the crazy sustain you get with it... Oh, and how the volume never gets muddy as you turn it down. And what I really can't stand is the perfect fret setup; I hate it...

That's a beautiful design, and a really neat pickup combination. But, the neck joint looks awfully cumbersome past the 14th fret or so. The horn cutaways allow really good access, but the neck joint takes it away. I dunno - maybe it isn't as bad as that picture makes it look?

I think it kicks in at the 16th fret, and the body is very slim, so I guess maybe not too much of an issue? I don't know - I haven't played one yet..........and won't until I can afford it, because I suspect once I DO play it, it will be coming home with me

Here I am, perfectly thrilled and happy with my guitars after MANY years searching........really. ......and then these blasted Germans just had to do this. haven't you and the rest of the world realized yet that you can NEVER trust us Germans. we're always just waiting in the wings until everyone think's we're gone! (lol) beautiful guitar.

Played it............ not for me, VERY sadly! BEAUTIFUL guitar, truly beautiful.......sounds glorious............ made with true precision (think Collings quality!!)............. BUT the scale length just doesn't feel right to me on this model.........just too long for a body that shape and size. I know, totally subjective, but there it is..............it just didn't speak to me, and I SO wanted it to........but hey ho!
