Thought I'd share an updated family photo with you all. I'm going to need a bigger couch...

The vintage burst LP Standard is my go to guitar, but that Power Jet is slowly creeping up on her.
The figured cherry Gibby in the back is a 356. It's a little bit smaller than the 335/355 and is carved from one solid piece of mahogany and capped with a figured maple top. I've actually been contemplating selling that one for a larger 335/355.

It was a total impulse buy. I'm working with Wildwood to possibly trade it for one of these bad boys...

No doubt the 336/356's are fine guitars. It's just they sound exactly like a chambered Les Paul. The small size and light weight is great, too, but the strap button on the back tends to cause the guitar to tip forward more than any 335 I've played. Almost like an SG or a Firebird.

I love my 336 and feel it's different than my SG, LP and Collings dual humbucker guitars. It has a different vibe and ring to it. I love a 335 but having owned a nice clone of one I don't miss the huge body and the inability to put in my dually gig bag. Anyhow, nice collection of musical tools there. That's a lifetime of tone hunting and some great pieces to pass on to future generations.

Thanks, Christopher! I think I can cover most sonic avenues with this arsenal. Now, I need to start collecting more Z amps!!!
