Keef`s new album......arrived in the mail this morning so only one play, so far. It's actually far better than I expected! Keef isn't the greatest singer, but his songs are good and the production is excellent. No big budget studio trickery here....and all the better for it. I could have done without Goodnight Irene though. This may stay in the CD player for a while.

I was just listening as I drove to the store. My last thoughts on the song I was listening to was the music had a good groove but the his lyrics are a little too predictable. I love the reggae and I think there are some great songs.
I am inspired by his zealousness for soulful music. I heard or read that he is tipping his hat to a number of folks in his songs. Earlier in the day I heard a blatant melody of Clapton's Wonderful Tonight. I hope that was intentional.
