Yes - the Rockett Animal looks like a good one! Enjoying the Dirty Little Secret right now, but part of the fun of using a clean amp as a pedal platform is that I can try different things. I want to explore the different Marshall In A Box pedals. I think the Rockett is my next one, but really it will be whichever of them I find used - I'll just flip 'em until find my favorite.

DLS is a great pedal--very scooped and pretty compressed, so lots of fun as you add gain. Mine developed a switching issue--one of these days I'll get it fixed, 'cause I miss it.

Here's my Marshall In a Box. Just came in. Hmmm... looks like it's going to take up a lot of space on your pedalboard.

There are already so many good pedals but i'll add another option. Last night I played a JHS Moonshine pedal into a Maz Jr NR with a full band at good volumes. It does the marshall OD to Grind very well and cleans up nicely when turning the guitar volume down.

Here's my Marshall In a Box. Just came in. Hmmm... looks like it's going to take up a lot of space on your pedalboard. My Marshall in a Box turned out better than anticipated! It is a bit big for the pedal board. This amp is a tonal monster, I am very pleased. However, I am disgusted, someone nicked my custom head cabinet from my porch within 1/2 hour of delivery. People are getting more bold and it is frightening.

I enjoy the tones you can get out of a JHS Charlie Brown, very Marshally, slight dirt to solid crunch, worth a look for sure.
