I always thought that two in a stereo setup would be really killer. Or perhaps one setup for crunch and one for cleaner tones.
Anyone presently doing this?

I used a MAZ 18 1x12 and a MAZ 38 1x12 together for a few years.. it was killer. Used the 38 mostly for headroom and balls, and the 18 for more of the scream, it was a great combo.. and always had a backup!

Perry? Is the same "Perry" of "The Howlers"? Love the CD....It's been in heavy rotation in the car CD player since I got it! And just to keep it legal without stealing this thread...I only own 1 maz-18

I run a maz 18 and a Mazerati in stereo and I love them. You can hear live clips at www.dawgtown.net Although the amps are blended in mono on the recording. This is a cover band that I tour with some.

I could see doing it, tried the two Pro Juniors thing and liked it, but I would probably go for two diffrent amps for a little change in flavor. Then again I do not run anything in stereo, just spilt the signal. I do plan on running the Pro with the Maz with the Pro giving me a little more dirt/ act as a monitor. Seems to work out well with my other guitarist and his Orange / Pro rig..

Anyone over on the Gear Page has probably seen my posting about this a bunch of times: I run a Maz 18 Jr. 2x10 combo alongside a Carmen Ghia head...the Ghia powers up a Motion Sound SR112 rotary cabinet. It's a groovy matchup, especially for the slow grind, and it's all so easy to transport. I use a Lehle Dual to split the signal and almost always have both amps running simultaneously (as opposed to switching back& forth).
Interesting tidbit: so few cats in NY use Vibratones or Leslies with live guitars anymore that it's enough to make the soundguy-in-residence cream his shorts, don't ask me why. So, between the interest generated from the Z amps and the rotary cab, they never have a problem coming up with that elusive extra microphone for the guitar amps, hehe.

Eric 'Roscoe' Ambel (Steve Earle and the Dukes) uses 2 MAZ 18's plus a Z-28...I've heard this setup live and it's awesome. You can see it here: www.ericambel.com/guitarrigphotos05.htmSadly, I only have one, but it rocks! Red/Wheat reverb head and Z best 2x12 cab.

I use 2 MAZ 18 Jr's a lot. I go in the high input on one and the low input on the other. I like the difference in the voicing. I use them with a Gibson SuperGoldtone cab thats got 2 10"s/ 2 12"s. 10"s are open backed and the 12"s are closed.

That's a nuts setup! Awesome variety of tone...I can practically hear it in my head just reading about it. Very cool.
