;D Only had it a few days and man I love this amp! Once I get comfortable with both amps it will be great but I wanted to throw this out there for anybody on the fence. This thing will ROCK! Settings were somewhere close to this: Vol: 10:00 Bass: 1:00 Treb Noon BB Preamp: Gain slightly less than unity Vol Slightly over unity Treb unity Bass slightly over unity RC booster for leads set about the same more or less Fender Tonemaster cab w/V30's wired for 4 Ohms Fender 62 Vintage Modifed RI Strat Can't wait to add the Mazjr to the mix! I tried a mini mass but it sucked the tone. Just have to play louder I guess. bummer... Oh almost forgot, here it is: southboundinfo.com/Documents/hands-walk.mp3PSJ

The Z28 is killing! Nice clip, nice playing, great sounds, it's all there. OT: I played Walk This Way in a band in 1977! I think I may even have a recording of it around here somewhere - cassette tape. That's an old tune, but it still sounds great to me! Thanks for the memories...

Staggering buzz on there, your band puts on an exciting show. Great guitars, squelching tone. Thank you.

Thanks guys. The guitar is stock with 57/62 RI pups in it and it's one of the best..OK the best Strat I ever owned. It just has the right amount of everything for me and works great with the Z28. The songs are dated but so isn't the band, we have fun anyways. I haven't played Walk This Way in a VERY long time either. I used to know the leads good but always a crowd pleaser and they didn't notice I'm sure that I flubbed a note or three!
Really nice Strat amp! ;D I never played a Deluxe so I don't know how it compares but the proof is in the pudding as they say.

Hi, just a simple question, when you guys are playing live or even practice with a drummer and bass guitar, you run your amp at around 10 volume, it must get real loud, do you use any ear-protection, or is it just a mad rush and the pressure doesn't get to you?

Everyone in my band but myself uses ear protection. I have a really nice set of musician ones but why not just turn down a little? It gets loud but I find that I still lose some sizzle and snap with them in. One of these days I'll give them another try. They were fitted for my ear and cost about $150 I think so I should.

Great live sound and smooth chops! Sure is good to know the world hasn't gone to DJ's.
What did you record with?

Zoom H2
Really cool little unit for the price. Super easy to use too.

Very cool. Tone and lead jammin' reminded me of Eddy Shaver.

Never heard of Eddy Shaver but I'll hope that's a compliment and say thanks!
I'll have to check him out.

Great tone and nice playin'! Your band sounds nice 'n' tight, and that little Zoom did a great job of capturing the sound.

Great tone! Thanks for sharing the tune with us! Love the live stuff. Gonna have to look into the H2 -- great sounds for a little portable unit like that!!
