I stole this backing track off thegearpage. It's a kickin', kickin tune by Althrax; lots of fun. I suggest you go there and pick it up. Anyway, here's my tribute to my fellow Canuck. BTW, about half way through I stretched a string and pulled the skin away from my fingernail (See if you can tell where that is). Anyway, my bends after that sometimes don't go exactly to where they should. Ouch, that hurts. www.soundclick.com/bands/page_songInfo.cfm?bandID=710085&songID=6331462Oh; Strat with Kinmans into HBE Powerscreamer into my ancient green Ibanez digital delay into Maz Jr. Recorded with Behringer B1 condenser about 1.5 feet in front of amp into Cakewalk Sonar; all flat, nothing added.

Sounding really nice there Gary! Nice tribute track. That is a nice backing track! Love the way you processed your guitar though - sounds like you were right there with the band when the backing track was made.

Thanks Steve. I made an mp3 of it and the guitar was too low so I did it again and brought the guitar up some; guess I got lucky with the mix. I find the guitar sound with the powerscreamer, especially on the low strings has a bit of that Ford sound too. I'm pretty happy with that tone.

Just when I thought my gas was over, that powerscreamer sounds incredible but maybe it's just your tasty licks! Great job!

Thanks so much guys. The powerscreamer is a pretty versatile, do-it-all pedal and those who like it like it a lot.

You capture some of that Healey magic with this one, for sure. I didn't hear any finger injuries either... nice playing.
