That's one of the coolest guitar tones I've heard posted on here. Nicely done!
Diggin' the mojovibe too.

I love that Trower album, and your tone and playing really nailed that vibe. Really cool!

Let me begin by saying that I absolutely love Robin Trower. He's one of the best of all time - period and certainly one of my all time favorites. That being said, you guys tore that tune a new a**. That was by far the best version I have ever heard and I have heard many, many bands "try" it. I have also heard many people try to cop Robin's tone which changes throughout the tune - if done correctly. Bobby Ray you nailed it and I dig your bassist's voice too. Of course, I have never heard you sing it. I would like to.
Wow!! that blew me away my friend. The bass player sounds very much like Davey Pattison. If you sound like James Dewar you guys have all you need for EVERYTHING Trower. Your guitar tone and playing is exact - I very, very, very much enjoyed that and believe me it takes something awesome (like that) to make me give compliments when Robin Trower is concerned. There is one other guy from TGP (CARLYGTR) that impressed me but you have made my head spin. Got some more Trower cover links - PLEASE!!!! If I heard that in a club - I think I would s*** myself.
Awesome Bobby Ray,
Bill Ballato (bilbal)

TROWER IS THE BEST BLUES ROCK GUITARIST SINCE 1975 AND STILL IS TODAY!!I HAVE BEEN A TROWER FANATIC EVERY SINCE THE FIRST TIME I HEARD "BRIDGE OF SIGHS"!! Bobbyray my hat's off to you and your band as your tone on the entire song is as good as I have heard from any band doing a cover of "TOO ROLLING STONED"!! GOTTA GET A SWEET SOUND MOJO VIBE AND A BUDDA-WAH AND MY GALAXIE 1X12 and STRAT WILL SUPPLY THE REST OF THE TONE RECIPE!! ;D

Well shoot guys....I don't know what to say. Thanks a ton for the compliments. It's funny, because when I listen to myself on these things all I really hear are the things that I hate about my own playing. It's nice to hear soemone else's perspective, but I still know how very far away from satisfied I am. And that's as it should be. If I ever say to myself, "There, I think I'm good enough" about anything let alone guitar, somebody shoot me. Thanks again guys. Now to get back to looking through this sounds page to see what licks I have to try and steal from all of you.

I forget to mention that we do some more Trower tunes. We'll have to try and record them sometime.
