I just got an email from Eventide about a fantastic upgrade program: Eventide H9 Maxout upgradeSo for my H9 I need 10 purchased algos, but how many have I purchased? The H9 app on my iPad tells me the algos that came with it are also purchased, but they don't qualify. So I got on their forum until I figured it out. You go to the app store and click on in-app-purchases and they list all of the purchases you've made right there. AWESOME! So for another $20 I'll be able to get ALL of the existing algos AND all future algos! WOW!

Well I had to buy one more to qualify, but Apple's taking their sweet time registering the purchase in the list, and so far I haven't been able to upgrade to the full MAX configuration. So hard to be patient!

I checked, and mine was a ''MAX'' already. Now to find time for a treasure-trove of effects. Wow! I just went into my apps and it said ''H9 Max.'' That was easy! I've had mine almost two years and I got an ipad mini...Now I'm in the 21st Century @ 62. The Blue Tooth thing is just fantastic!! I have it mounted to my mic-stand. I just scratched the surface with it too! Time to add some new effects and keep it down to about 30 presets.

You have to give Eventide credit here - when they came out with the Max folks were complaining that they had already spent that much but didn't have all of those algos, so they cooked up the upgrade. I have enough to get the upgrade, but my last purchase still doesn't show in the app store, so I have to wait for Apple to get with the program...

Well I finally got my Max upgrade. Ignore what I said about the iTunes list - it is totally bogus. I ended up sending an email to support and asking, and found out I had to buy two more to qualify. Oddly, the Looper has ended up being so much fun I haven't tried anything else, and the looper was free!
