Random play of the day goes to Larry Carlton's album Last Nite ... supposedly a "rare" imported cd from Japan.
I previously owned the "rare" imported vinyl lp of this album.
I'm glad I dug thru the box of discs last nite.
cheers always,
Joel p.s. the "rare" comment was on the price-tag sticka that the shop-owner hand-labelled ..... both times

His early stuff was incredible - The Crusaders, Steely Dan, and his solo stuff. I just bought a couple of tunes off his "4 Hands and a Heart" Christmas album. It's just Larry doing the rhythm and melody tracks (the 4 hands part) but very tasty tunes.

If you ever get a chance to see him live do it! He plays better than most.
