The TS808 has a really smooth sounding attack on it, and while I've never tried the Paisley Drive, I can understand why a feller would enjoy the 808. I just didn't like the foot switch on it...that weird little square seems like it's not as long lasting a switch to me and one of the 808's I had seemed to have intermittent switching troubles...but since I used it as a cleanish tone enhancer it didn't really matter much.

This amp is so versatile. The last video I posted used both volumes around 9 o clock, mids set real low. This time, I cranked the pre (to get some breakup) and kept the post at a level that didn't get my eardrums bleeding, and dimed the mids.
What a difference! With the mids real low, it sounds pretty close to a JAZ and with the mids up high it sounds pretty close to a Z28. Around halfway through I stepped on a Maxon OD 820. Used a strat, but I know a tele would do it even more justice!
