Was posting on the Face-thing about putting some TonePros locking studs on one of my all time favorite guitars, my 2001 Historic '60 Les Paul Special. Somebody reminded me of the MojoAxe compensated 7075 Aluminum wraptail and I went a head and bought one. I was gonna put this stuff together myself but then I saw that the frets needed a little touch up too from all that time when I was playing 12's. Got the guitar back today and the combination of the TonePros locking studs and MojoAxe's really subtle wraptail was awesome. Picked it up this afternoon and played a gig with it just now. It was great. MojoAxe also makes an upgrade for the "lightning bolt" tailpiece. 3 & 3 instead of 4 & 2. Very exciting.

Man; looking sweet. Reminds me of this Compton I picked up for my old ES125:

Very nice! I bet your intonation is pretty good with that.

Intonation was pretty darn good before (heavier strings). It's really good now. Much like a 'vintage style' 3 x 2 compensated Tele bridge.

Very cool, Eric! I'm pretty ignorant about Wraps...tho I really like them! I had to google the 3+3 vs 4+2 thing.....Great that it's working out for you!

I've heard a lot of good things about those. Had thought about it for my Kauer, but the intonation is spot on with .11s, so I probably don't really need to.

It is a nice piece of gear. Got it on my Bacchus '54 Les Paul. It looks nice and sounds nicer.
