If you're having trouble sleeping and have an IQ higher than an 8 year old, you're sure to fall asleep with any episode of this series.
Don't let the synopsis fool you, there's nothing exciting going on here...
An example of supernatural events: The machines that a handyman fixed start killing their owners after the handyman considers leaving the town of Haven with his girlfriend. At one point, the two main actors are in a shed when a nail gun shoots at them. There's no cool special effects here, just a nail gun laying on its side shooting nails. The pair hides behind a wheel barrow and are about to make a break for it when the nail gun shoots a 5 gallon metal gas tank trying to blow them up. They barely escape with their lives.
To top it off a zamboni ice machine has the handyman's girlfriend pinned against a rink wall when the detective figure out that the machine just wants TLC. They shoot the control panel so the handyman can fix the wires and everything is all better. The detective tells the handyman he has to let his girlfriend leave town by herself.
This is my go-to mind-numbing TV series when I want to fall sleep day or night.

lol that's hysterical.
i recently watched all 4 seasons of "the Killing", on netflix instant even though the characters are idiots, nothing about the crime work they do is realistic and while it's set in SEattle, there are virtually no scenes (other than overhead shots of the city) that look like the places they're supposed to be taking place in. oh, well.... maybe i should have been watching them at bed time.
