Hello all, I recently played through a RX ES with a Tele and a 1x12 cab loaded with a gold. I fell for it immediatly. Shimmery on the high end, but a big bottom on it. It had a master which seemed to function fantastically. My question is... Does the Jr have the same big bottom that the ES has? How different are they? Big bottom usually means more power. I had a Maz 38 that needed to be run far to loud to get it into the sweet spot, I had to get rid of it for that reason. Thank in advance for any help.

I just got an Rx Jr. today. I haven't played the ES but I can say the Jr. has plenty of bottom end, much more than my M12. That said, I don't like too much bottom (in my amps). I turned the bass up to around 6 on the M12 and down to around 3 on the Rx Jr and Z28.

I love my Rx Jr, but had the master volume mod been avaible on the ES at the time; I probably would have gone with that. From all accounts; the Junior really is about as 'Mini Me' to the ES as you can get.

I think that my Rx Jr has plenty bottom end. I a/b tested it against my Stangray, that has so much bottom end. I did not think the Rx Jr was lacking in low end and was surprised on how much bottom it actually had; fairly comparable to the Ray. The Ray has way more bottom than I can imagine anyone would use.

Plenty of bottom (much more than you need in a band context) with a G12H30. My bass player used to complain.
