Feeling a little Neil today so I put her in 20W mode and cranked this out. The settings are visible in the video and I apologize in advance for the audio quality. Had to document the girth as best I could w the phone mic. Watch out for clams!

I love it ! Man that 290 has a really great and clear sound to it. JAZ sounds like something I need. I'd love to hear a sample with the Tremolo if you ever get the desire.
Congrats again on a beautiful amp. And thanks for soulful playing.

Very nice sounding. If it wasn't for the weight I'd love to pick up a JAZ. On a side note, I love your avatar - it looks like the Z28 is compacting the amp underneath it! But then, that is another thing I love about the JAZ - that oval front. KILLER!

Thanks gents. Simpleton if you check my other post there's a bit of tremolo on the chord changes part in the middle. I had it set very subtle for a slight tremor. Very cool and tasty to my ears. Yes, she's a big girl but I love the sound and she's a touch less than a 4x10 Super Reverb but a heckuva lot more toneful IMO.

That amp has a really sweet and stout sound even through an iPhone. Go to 22:22..........

Christopher, that sounded awesome! Great tone and playing brother. The JAZ is a great amp. I honestly think you'll end up finding a crazy amount of good tones in it after you have it longer.. For me it took a while to figure out, guess it took you a few minutes lol. My jam room is akin to "survivor". The JAZ just keeps winning all the challenges. I'll never part with this amp, and gave up trying to find something better.
I have the 1-12 combo and really love it. It covers a lot of ground.
I'd love to hear a clip of you with humbuggers, zztop-ish?

Nicholas-Thanks for the kind words sir. I'd be glad to oblige you with a 'bucker equipped video as soon as I get some new glass in her. The other morning I went from 40-20 and somewhere between the standby and on switch she lost an output tube or two. The volume was dramatically reduced and not Z-esque. I called the repair dept. and am awaiting new tubes from another source so I can retube her and get on down the road. As soon as I get her back to operational specs I'll throw the LP in the mix and get it posted. You're right about some great tones in this amp. There's a lot of versatility inside and it's a bit overwhelming. I've got the 2x10 and it's much snappier than the 1x12 '28, not only b/c of the different preamp but the speakers, too. I'm eager to get her back up and running b/c we've only been together a week. From your signature it looks like you've got the Doc's two best (IMO) amps. Play on bro!
