On Netflix.
A fascinating time travel show. The gist... In 2077, a group of rebels are about to be executed but instead are sent back in time to 2012. A cop sees something fishy going on during the execution and tries to interrupt but gets sent back with them.
The interesting part is that in 2077, corporations are the government and the cops are the enforces of their rule. Technology companies rule the country. In one episode, they show people who have defaulted on their loans being sent to a slave labor warehouse.
The rebels were sent back to 2012 to stop corporations from taking over the government. The cop is trying to retrieve the time travel technology to get back to 2077 and get the rebels off the street.
The show has many layers which makes it really interesting. You want to root for those who are trying to stop the corporations from directly taking over but they are very vicious and manipulative. You also want to root for the cop because she is hot and sees how many innocent people the rebels kill. But, you really don't want to root for her because she is an enforcer of a terrible system.

Love the show, but as it went on I had to really pay attention to the time shifts and allegiance shifts to keep things straight. New season coming next year.

I'm binge watching it, so it makes it a little easier to follow.

Love the show. And as Marc said, as time goes on (no pun intended!), you really do have to pay attention to the timeline and characters. And as for the lead character, they certainly do 'ugly her up' for the show. She doesn't look anything like this. (and certainly not blond)
