I decided to give creambacks a try since I found a new pair for $200, but while I had the eminences out of the cab I typically use with my Remedy, I plugged it into my 65 Bandmaster cab that has 2 JBL D131s, grabbed my open G tele, and turned the Remedy up to about half way with a couple clicks on the brake lite. Honestly, its the best I've ever heard this amp. Sweet mild overdrive but tons of clarity. Don't know why I didn't plug it into that cab sooner. Blown away.

I always loved JBL D series speakers. I could never understand why they stopped making them!

They totally changed the character of the amp, at least at this volume. Doubt I'll gig it this way, but for at home its great. Couldn't help but play a bunch of Stones riffs.

Look at all of the old pics of the Allman Brothers with Duane and Dickie - they had Marshall stacks, but their 4x12 cabs all had JBLs in them.

One of the best "guitar" tones I ever heard live was an electric bouzouki through a silver face Twin Reverb with a pair of JBL's. Very cool speakers!
