Congrats and welcome! The other guitar player in my band plays my old BFDR. After hearing my old Z Wreck and now my current Maz jr she's decided she's going Z. Once you hear that tone there's no going back! And oddly, it wasn't the Z Wreck that sold her on Z tone, it was the Maz jr!

Well, I called Humbucker Music today, and ordered this guy. So stoked. I love these colors. After talking to Brian, he said he sent off the order today, and they should get it in 4-6 weeks and then ship it off to me. He gave me the option of having a V30 and a G12 or a Creamback and a G12, so I opted for the Creamback. I'll be selling the Orange potentially tomorrow now, so for upcoming gigs, I'll be using my Vox Cabinet and Micro Terror until the Z gets here. I can't wait! I'll be getting road cases for the head and cab so they won't get damaged... Any leads on a live in case for the cab? I've found one for the head, but have only found lift off for the cab so far. Just in case... I totally don't own this image... Obviously. Dude...seriously? All I can say is OMFG!!! NICE!!!!! Haha, yep! Thanks! I can't say enough times how excited I am. I saw the money leave my account, but no emails or any other kind of verification. Kinda making me nervous, but I'm sure it's fine.

I'll bet you're gonna love it. My experience was a lot like Mark's - didn't know much about Zs, was looking for a BFDR at the time and heard something about the MAZ Jr, a few days on Z-Talk and I had the hook in my mouth. About a week later I sniped a MAZ head off eBay...and haven't looked back. I've used it with a single Hellatone 60 (very good) and a Z 2x10 (REALLY good!). YMMV but it's hard to go wrong with a MAZ Jr. Guess that's why it's Doc's biggest seller. Have fun with it! Thanks! I'm sure I will too. So it sounds good through smaller cabs too, huh? I'm kind of ignorant when it comes to the difference between 10" speakers and 12" speakers.. .at least tone wise. Is it a pretty big difference? And yeah, for it to be the top seller... That's saying something. I'm having to reply like this individually for each person and i feel bad for posting so much in a row... Is there any way to quote mroe than one person in a single post?

Hey Zach, welcome to the forum! The Maz Jr was my first Z, great amp! That's a strikingly good colour combo, wow. Congrats! Thank you, I thought so too! I'm hoping the amp jewel will be blue too. I can hardly tell in the picture. That's easy to swap though.

Zach, welcome and congrats on a great looking rig. Those colors are awesome. You've chosen well. My Maz jr has been with me over ten years and I would never consider letting it go. Sometimes I wish I did as you and bought a head/cab instead of a combo so I could team it with other bottoms more easily. But I did team the 2x10 combo with another 2x10 bottom at an outdoor gig this summer and did it sing. You are going to have some fun. Ah, that rocks. It's great news that the Maz 18's are good outdoors as well! 4-6 weeks better fly by!

Haha. Like I said earlier, and it just seems to be getting confirmed more and more. The Maz tone is addictive!

It's just my first huge purchase that's a special order kind of thing, so I don't know how these things go!

One more question. From what I noticed in the store, it stays clean for quite a while, and gets loud while doing it... but will it be able to stay clean at stage volumes? Yes, you will be more than able to have clean headroom at stage volume with the Maz Jr. Ive played gigs with my Maz 18 from 50 seat clubs to 3000 seat halls and its more than enough amp to handle every situation. The secret Ive found to keeping your Maz as clean as possible is keeping the master volume up and the regular volume down. I keep my Master volume at about noon and my regular volume at about 9 oclock, and use pedals for Overdrive. its more than enough amp and clean tone.

Haha, man. Well, peace of mind is a beautiful thing! Whatever it takes to get it! Anyways, I was just about to give them a call today when my email notification went off, and found out it was a confirmation email! Woo! I can imagine it won't be. Though it'd be nice if it keeps me tied up for quite a while!

I used to do that on the Orange to make the dirty channel clean. I almost liked it better than the actual clean channel. I was reading some threads on here a while ago where plenty of people were saying that there isn't enough headroom... Maybe it was even on another forum, but I was just wondering why people didn't just put the master higher. I'm glad that's confirmed by you then. There's also that other thread people have been posting in here and there recently about fully opening up the master. Good stuff! I can't wait to see how the amp sounds. I mean.. I know I tried the Maz, and loved it. But it almost seems like some amps that are the same, can be entirely different at the same time, you know?
