I picked up a 2013 Remedy with MV & EQ bypass from Z brother gplayer1965. My current rig is a 25th Ghia through 2 cabinets, 1x12 with Celestion Gold, and a 2x10 with Doc's speakers. Both are Z convertible cabs. I also have a 12" Tone Tubby Red that's currently in BST that I'm trying to sell.
It seems from my research here that the Creamback (GM12-65?) is the choice speaker for the Remedy. How different is it from the Gold or TT? I have very little experience with different spearkers, so I apologize. What about the 2 10s?
My band plays 90s-today modern rock. Foo Fighters, Black Keys, Toadies, Artic Monkeys, Danko Jones, STP, Kings of Leon, Offspring, U2, Cage the Elephant, etc.
Thanks for any advice, Eric

I have not tried it with a gold yet but that creamback is nice!

Congrats on the Remedy!
Man, I would give the Gold a good workout with the Remedy and see what you think. It's a great speaker, however I think the Creamback G12M65 may be better for your style of music (which I dig) as it handles overdrive slightly better.
The Tone Tubby Red H1E could also work for you. It handles OD nicely but I thought it was pretty bright.
Good luck and welcome to the Remedy club.

The Gold is awesome with the Remedy - just loud, but with your MV you have that under control. You will be thrilled with the Gold and Remedy combination. Only reason to change might be lower db's, but I doubt that will be an issue.

Yeah...Creamback M.....the lower db will be nice, you can crank the mv more. Anything in the greenback camp will be good. I had a TT alnico a few years ago, I found it rather dark sounding. Couldn't sell it fast enough.

I tried my Remedy through my Z 1x12 with a Gold and have another with a Creamback 65. I preferred the Creamback as it seemed to round the tone out a little more for what I was doing. Both sounded great though.

I put the creamback in tonight, WOW! To me, it sounds much, much better than the Gold, especially the tighter bass. Really smooooth.... Now, I just have to decide what to do with the 2x10, I really don't like the Remdey with the 2x10s, especially with what I heard out of the creamback. Should I change the 10s to something else? I'm tempted to just get another 12 with a creamback. Of course, I could fire up the ghia and run the 10s with that
