So, I traded my Remedy yesterday, for a Therapy (which hasn't arrived yet..... another story on another thread) I am sad I had to do the trade as I loved my Remedy, and always will, but money is money! Anyhoo, I'm still going to keep my toe firmly in this pond going forward, and will always wax lyrical about the Remedy - a superb amp indeed! Rock On Brethren!!

Pete l have a lonely 2x12 cab that's waiting for a head so will wait for it to appear on the peach site and possibly offer it a new home.

Pete! I never expected YOU to be the author of this thread! To be honest John, if I hadn't have changed bands, I probably wouldn't have changed the Remedy - the change in musical style has been so dramatic that I wasn't doing the Remedy justice anymore, and I would have kept it if I could have. It will go down as one of my all time favs. and one of those amps I suspect will find its way back into the gang again, at some point. One thing for me is that I don't like my gear sitting around gathering dust, or even just the occasional play - I like to gig my gear, and work it. It would break my heart to think of the Rem sitting there doing nothing. At least this way, someone else can enjoy it, and cook those tubes! It's an amp to be PLAYED, not just warmed over now and again. I hope one of our UK / Eurpoean Z brothers will want it and enjoy it

Pete, A lil' surprised about this thread .... but totally dig what you are saying. While I am looking forward to your future contributions in the Therapy section .... I am also looking forward to your eventual return to also having a REmedy alongside the Therapy and '28 .... best regards and cheers always, Joel

One thing for me is that I don't like my gear sitting around gathering dust, or even just the occasional play - I like to gig my gear, and work it. I understand completely. I'm the same way too. I feel somewhat guilty about my Stangray purchase....total unnecessary guilty pleasure. It's pushed the Remedy out of the way for the 'big gigs'...for now. But eventually the 'ray will give way and I'll be back to the Remedy. Speaking of sitting around....anyone want to buy a Z-best?

Ah, the smell of a new and probably the best (so far) amp the good Dr has produced. Like a pheromone calling the opposite sex, or the Sirens call onto the rocks, all reason is lost and GAS becomes all consuming! I fell prey to this with the Antidote! Must keep playing not to succumb again. It's soooooo hard!

I'm raising money for a Therapy as well but not going to sacrifice the mighty Remedy.

Life is made of cycles. If you want to live your next cycle completely and intesively you need to let go things belonging to your past. sure, always keeping them in good memory. and I guess this is what Pete is doing

Can it be in the past and present at the same time? Or is it only in the past when you've let it go? Memory is all about the past and present. In other words, things belonging to the past have already gone... or are they? "I think... therefore I be!" Da Cart (before the horse) Jes sayin!

I can't imagine parting with my Rem, but kudos to Pete for being bold and staying within the Z family.

I cannot imagine playing without a Z amp or two at hand. They are by far the best amps I have ever played, or owned
