Well over the past few years I've had fun owning (and gigging) several Z amps. Sometimes even more than one at a time. :-D So last week I swapped a forum member my Red Remedy for his Red Stang Ray. It is due in next Tuesday, the waiting... I've got a 1x12 Z conv cab with a Creamback and a 2x12 Mesa G12H30 / Gold.
My main gigging amps are old Fenders. Lots more gigs coming up so looking forward to swanging with the Stang Ray!

Get ready to plug into the HI input of the Ray through your 2x12 cabinet, and hold on to your britches!

You're gonna love it with the Creamback.

Which creamback is in the 1x12? the M-65 or H-75? I have the less efficient M-65 in my Z 1x12, and currently playing it closed back to attempt to contain on stage volume. I have a creamback H-75 paired with a gold in my Z 2x12 cab. The Ray should sound great in both cabs, but the 2x12 should have an edge in tone with the gold in it that will really bring out the chime in the Ray.

I have the M-65. So hoping to use the 1x12 for quieter gigs. Looking forward to using both cabs when I can! I'm planning on using some pedals like the fulldrive and Timmy.

I use an openback 1x12 cab with a Creamback-M with my stangray. Very nice tone with the reduced volume. (it still can be loud so watch out!)
