In a moment of insanity, I sold my beloved Z28 several weeks ago. I actually had to sacrifice it due to some other purchases.
Luckily, I was able to buy...well trade it back home. Should be back today! Can't wait to get my grubby hands on that little tone machine. It's been missed.

Phew Mark, that was a close call - you nearly let that one get away!! I can't quite imagine this place without MarkT and his trusty Z28.....

The Blonde w/Brown Z28 is back in the house. This time perched upon a matching 1-12 Z cab w/Gold.... It sounds just as awesome as it did a few weeks back. I'll use this amp mainly with a dual amp rig. Accompanying the Z28 will be my matching Maz Jr Studio w/Gold! KILLER sounding, relatively small, easy to carry, stereo rig. ( My aNaLoG.MaN true stereo chorus makes it true stereo ) We have swirl!

If memory serves, you had it perched atop a 4x10 with golds? Correct me if I am incorrect. I'm interested in your thoughts of a 1x12 gold v 4x10 gold setup. I've always been a 4x10 Z28 devotee, but the wandering eye... well... wanders!

I just made some other purchases and needed to let the amp & cab go....then had a chance to buy the amp back. Already had the 1-12 Gold cab. It sounds HUGE with the Z28....not quite as big as the 4-10...but almost! But.....THIS...sounds even better!!!!

You could cover any situation with that setup. Also looks portable. Love the studio combo cab--I put a maz 38 chassis in one and it is my go to amp. Light, portable, and killer sounding. Light, portable, and killer sounding. YES....it is. You're correct. Very portable and versatile. I bet the Maz Sr in the Studio cab is killer too. I could actually do just about any gig with my Jr. The dual amp set up has always been sweet sounding and this one is special. I like to use this with my pedal boards and my Z Wreck combo is a killer by itself...no pedals...well, maybe a boost.

I just sold a convertible cab with a Gold and never had the wherewithal to try the Z28 through it. Doh! I suppose that's a testament to how much I love the 4x10 with gold setup. I suppose a pic never hurts
