I thought I'd share how I installed the Brake Lite- I wanted it in the bottom as not to dampen any of those wonderful vibrations from the sides of the super resonant sides of this thin walled combo cab. I also had to be careful because the stock screws are a little long for the 1/2" thick cab. I didn't want screw's popping out of the side of this beautiful little package. I used some extra washers on the stock screws. I have a Brake Lite installed in my Maz Jr and I mounted it a little low making it hard to plug and unplug the speaker. I won't have any problems with it mounted this way with easy access to the plug. I like to run my amps into different cab's at times...WITH the attenuator. I also got a NOS ( they sound best!) Bakelite Chicken Head knob so I can see it better at a glance. I really love the tone of this combo with the Brake Lite bypassed. It pushes the speaker better. But the attenuator makes this package much more versatile, as un-attenuated volumes are not always allowable....for me anyway. ANd!! The best of all is being able to see it from the top...provided you have enough lighting...

Nice clean work, Mark. A+++! Cool that you can see the BL settings from the top!!!!
As far as the chicken head knob: I was told there was a change from the chicken-head to the round knob as the chicken-head allowed more force to be easily applied and some of the switches were breaking. I do NOT know if this is true, but since I heard / read that, I've always baby'ed my RED (even better) chicken-head knobbed BL.

I already had a 16 Ohm Alessandro Muzzle, so I just velcroed it to the bottom on mine. It fits well and sounds awesome!

Looks good Mark. That's right where I'll put mine if I decide to install it.

I think I'll install mine using Nick's super tape I have to say again that this amp is truly addictive. The tone is what dreams are made of!

^ that's exactly what I use Mike. No screw holes. I had the brake in my JAZ for years, no issues at all. Works great for that. Makes a great pick holder too on the side of your pedal board or mic stand . For the brake lite I go heavy with the tape as I don't usually worry about removing it much. I cover both flanges fully and trim the excess off with a razor blade. To remove it, pulling it off with steady pressure till it let's loose always worked for me. If it's stubborn to remove a piece of fishing line can be used to "saw" it off. But never had to do that on wood. OK that's it for me mentioning the tape. Nobody like a pusher .

Dang Nick! I wish you had introduced us to your magic, do everything tape a few weeks ago. I'm fine with the 2 screws though...It's not going anywhere. The Brake Lite....or the amp.

Yup. Nothing wrong with the way it's designed to be mounted. I have a bit of an addiction to that stuff, and the amp .

Looks awesome man! I'm loving the look of the Z Wreck combo with the blue tolex. Thanks! I really like the Brake Lite more and more in this amp. Makes it so much more versatile. The way I'm using it is on the edge of breakup and just a clean boost or OD set clean to push it just a little more for leads. Then ride the guitar volume for many shades of clean...

Got my BL into the combo yesterday. Tape arrived too, so I can affix it for transport. I found that with the BL I like a bit of boost always on, at least with my LP. I have volume around 10 on the amp. BL was set to 3 and 4. I suspect when I back it off to 2 I won't need the bit of boost.
