in the last month I noticed twice a behaviour of my Zwreck which I don't understand. I switched the amp off after 3 hours of rehearsing but tried immediately to reswitch it on again but the amp didn't turn on. No light on the control lamp, no power. After about 15 seconds it worked again with no problems at all. Anyone has an idea about what happened? is there a kind of thermal protection inside? (something like a thermal relay preventing the amp to be reswitched on too quickly). Thanks for your ideas

I'd suspect a bad switch or going switch. I have never have heard of a thermal overload on a tube guitar amp.

thanks, Marc. That makes sense even if it's hard to believe that a power switch can die so young...one year old and treated well.

Yes those are Carling 110-63 on/off switch. Those switches have graced all Fender amps since the 50"s, and most are still working. PM me your address and I'll mail you a new one. Pretty easy to replace only two wires.
