Robert and I went to see it last night, what makes this movie interesting is all the twists. It's a movie loosely based on "things that happened," a.k.a. the 1970s Abscam FBI sting. Neither of us saw the last twist coming even though we were waiting for it. Worth viewing to see for yourself why Bradley Cooper was nominated for best supporting actor, or even if you just enjoy mobster movies like we do. Robert Di Nero has a cameo role. We thought Jeremy Renner who plays the Mayor of Camden was very good!
You will probably smile when the expression "science oven" is mentioned.

I walked out of the theater for the first time in a long time feeling fully satisfied by the experience. Two thumbs up here.

Great movie to go back to the late 70's - great music and "interesting" outfits

Just saw it this afternoon. I really enjoyed it on several levels. Acting, music, plot. Good movie. I sure hope that C Bale didn't have to put on all that weight just for this movie. Didn't look like latex and makeup.
