Nope. The Z speakers are 70 or 75 watts each. (can't remember) but I know you can run just about any head through that box. (maybe not a Marshall Major! ) Delta will be fine.

Volume reduction as compared to what? I think Doc's 10's are pretty efficient - my Maz Jr gets pretty loud with them...

Krusty's right. My Z 2x10 is unbelievably loud for such a small cab. If I told you in a blind listening test that it was a 2x12 you wouldn't question it. Perceived loudness is more than just the SPL read by a meter. The Z speakers convey a ton of harmonic "information", making them seem louder than some other 10's might.

The Z 2x10 box is a killer! Tas mentioned a Marshall Major. I once dimed one thru two EV 15s. Spot on Uriah Heep power chord sound. Actually when I was in high school this was my bass players rig. It made a great bass amp!
