So I've played the G12H through a Zbest and all I can say is WOW!
I'm going to get one of the new Z convertible cabs and I'm trying to decide which speaker to put in it.
I like the idea of the blue because I'm leaning toward the vox sound. I play a ton on worship music and think the pop rock sound is the way to go. (I have a strat and a tele w/P-90 at neck).
However, is the G12H more versatile. I need to sit down and compare them I know, but just can't do that at the moment...I'll try when I go pick up my amp.
So in short just want to hear you guys experience.
Thanks.

You might need to be careful with 1 blue with the Jr. I love my 2x10 combo, so you could consider the new 2x10 cab. I think I'll be getting one of those, eventually...

I'm really happy with the G12H in my Jr NR combo. The Blue does not have the bottom end response I like.
YMMV.

However, 2 Blues would work, or... do as I do... and get the 30W Weber AlNiCo Blue Dog. I also do the worship music scene, and it sounds incredible!

Just remember if the cab is ported you must match this with the Thiele parameters of the speakers.
If not , mix and try to your hearts content.

Thanks guys. Strato, your suggestion makes sense. I'll get the cab with a G12H and later try a Weber Blue Dog. I think that's the best way to go.

Ted Weber said to me in a posting elsewhere on this board - he thought that a Weber AlNiCo Blue Dog 30W with pre-rola treatment would work well with my Route66 I have on order.

Its unlikely that the JR would blow the blue, unless you use heavy distortion or fuzz. It is a lovely speaker, but I agree with Curt's comment about the bottom end. I would get a weber blue 30 watt with the prerola treatment, and get alnico if you want to get the full experience. The ceramic one has a really full low end response and slightly more volume, but you lose a bit of that fat/compressed thing you get with the alnico.

I think the Weber blue is the way to go. I think I'll play around with the G12H for a while. I don't think I convince my wife that I need to spend another $150 after buying a Rx Jr and a 1x12 convertible cab!
Appreciate the helps guys.
