Hello Maz users. I felt a great need to share this with you. I just got off of my first run with my new Y cable from Pro Cables n Sound. I had my Maz 18 2x10 running with a 1x12 extension cab and HOLY CRAP. It sounds killer. It's not even much louder than either of them by themselves but the sound is SO FULL. I have WGS in both, the Veteran 10's in the Maz and a Reaper in the cab. If you have a 2x10 and a 1x12 of either an amp or cab....get this cable! It is the tone I've been waiting for and I'll be happy with it forever/at least 4 months.

Very cool!
I think it's pretty commonly accepted that running multiple cabs, like running multiple speakers, doesn't significant increase actual or perceived volume, but increases the girth of the tone (or air moved). I'm toying with building a 115 cab to run in a similar manner with my 210 ZBest. If it can make a Peavey Delta Blues sound that great, imagine what 115 would sound like pushed by a Maz...

112 + 210 = For the longest time, that is how I ran my Z-28 ..... so I can well imagine all that EL-84 goodness and toneful-ness with the MAZ 18. Dude keep us posted on you tones, tunes and good-times playin' cheers always, eh Joel

I tried that several years ago. Mike (Z) told me that I was being risky using 3 speakers. But I had two 16 ohms and one 8 ohm speaker. He said the mismatch can create all sorts of kaos in the electronics as it attempts to constantly balance the load. I also loved the sound. But Mike advised against it. I figured he knew what he was talking about.

Hey Guy's, i have a port city (1x12) cabinet with a eminence wizard 8 ohm and the stock Z 10's. the sound is unreal. The fullness is as if its a 4x12 cabinet with the high and the lows of the 10's. WALL OF TONE,

I ran that a bunch when I had a 2X10 cab. Was amazing. Both 8 ohm cabs so I plugged into 4 ohm tap and all was good!

Curious how you set up your rig when running a 210 & 112. Do you do a stack or side by side or spread out a little? I have 112 combo with a 210 coming. I know I'll try both, but would love to know what tested experience has been for others. Thx.
