What's the impedance of a Z-best in the original configuration?? 8 Ohms?

My Z-best is stock with 16 ohm V30 and H30 wired in parrallel for 8 ohms.

I've been toying with the idea of a 2nd Z-best for my 6545, but I have to use a Z brake as is. Still, once the seed was planted the idea's been growing...

I have two blonde z best,stock speakers.I only use them together when i'm playing outside.They do sound huge,i'm pushing them with a mid 90's srz65 that sounds great....Sterling

An SRZ-65 or Route 66 pushing two ZBest cabinets would be the ultimate rock setup IMO.

I had asked this same thing a while back - my variation was that I was thinking of adding a open-back cab on top of the closed-back Z-best. It seems like a very interesting combination to me.

Just remember to use a Y-cord for the cabs, and ONLY use one output tap from the amp. If you have two 8 ohm cabs, you can go series for 16 ohms or parallel for 4 ohms.
Oh, and tape your windows before you light the amp up!

As far as the output cables go I have a splitter that I made out of an old boogie channel switching pedal that I use with mine.Useing the one 8ohm output jack from my head....Sterling
