Is there any place I can get a good (that is to say, close up) look at the difference between the tan and brown grill cloth that Z uses? I want to see which color I prefer with the Blonde tolex.
Any help would be appreciated.

This be the brown: This be the tan: As you can see, the tan is quite a lot lighter in color from the brown.

Steve, is that new 2 x 12 cabinet "tan" as in black & tan?
Sorry I have not had time to setup my Maz Jr head, blond with black/tan grille cloth face and Z-Best blond with black/tan grille cloth 2x12. Setup for some good photos, that is. I will try to do someting about that this weekend. I have seen a few similar examples in the gallery and all I can tell you is that I have seen no web image that comes close to how good it looks in person. I really like this color combination. I have a few more heads and cabinets in my future and I am torn between getting them all to match my first one or whether to do black tolex with black & tan grille cloth.
Did I mention that I really like the black & tan grille cloth?

No, mine is "tan," not the black and tan salt and pepper. And I agree, they always look a lot better in person. Getting the color just right in a picture is part of it, but the other part is that grille cloth is 3D and you just can't see that very well in a flat image.

Thanks tons for the photos.
It doesn't look like there's a huge difference between the brown and tan, but it may be hard to tell from the pics. The tan looks...well...a bit lighter. But it's not a dramatic difference.
I'm thinking of getting a Maz Sr. with blonde tolex, tan grill, and light (?) stained wood front panel. I hope it'll turn out how I envision it.
thanks again.
