For those of you who are wondering if the M12 can hold its own at LARGE venues, it absolutely can. I've been at 3 very large venues and 1 medium venue in the past month, and with my Z-Best cab I can't even turn the volume all the way up. I have it up half way and its rippin'. 1 venue seats over 2,000 and the others over 1,000 people. For those of you wondering, It can really fulfill big venue needs in my experience. For an example, here is where I'm at this week.

This is EXCELLENT NEWS!!!! I'm looking at selling my Maz 18 in favor of an M12 and I'm just about to pull the trigger. Might get a single 1x12 for now and work towards a second 1x12 later.

I agree, but speakers/cabs make a difference. Your Z-Best comes stock with a V30/G12H30 pair which are 100db speaks and the cab is a loud cab. I've owned one myself. Great cab!
But, use a 97db Greenback type or G12-65 type and your wattage is effectively cut in half, which could actually put you right in the middle of your sweet spot...or, put you in need of more headroom at some gigs. I find the lower SPL speaks give me enough headroom but also lets me hit the OD pedal sweet spot on the amp at more venues.

So what is the clean tone of the M12 like at a loud volume? I am having a hard time telling from the clips online. I loved the clean I used to get from me KT45 at like 9 o'clock on the gain. Can the M12 get close to that?
