Chris Thile is just a freakish musician. Really nobody out there to compare him to he's so unique. Just supremely talented and a really voracious worker.

Posted this a while back thought it appropriate for your thread Ian. The doc is just okay nothing to write home about. I really dig the covers they preform. Super talented bunch there, loved the Nickle Creek material.

Kind of a little known fact, but the banjo player in the Punch Brothers (Noam Pikelny) was the original founder of the Telecaster Discussion Page back in 1995 or so.
He passed the site along, went off to college, and switched to Banjo and is one of the most innovative banjo players out there right now.

Yay! I really enjoyed this film. It was fun too watch and there was not any of that cringing that comes along with such music documentaries.
