My wife and I watched it the other day. An awesome film, whether you like music, the Cohens or not. Even better if you like all of the above. Tons of tone!!

Just saw it about an hour ago
The Coen brothers are sort of a developed taste IMO. I'm sure many left the theater wondering what the heck was the point of the whole thing.
I personally like cats, so I was good with it.

Dave Van Ronk is who this is based on. I'm going to go check it out... maybe tonight. I got to know Dave before he passed away and I own his Maton 12 String. To me it's a huge deal... but I'm surprised at how many don't even know who DVR was.
Dave and his wife let a young Bob Dylan stay at their place when Dylan first came to NYC... Bob considers Dave Van Ronk to be his mentor. The Smithsonian recently released a 3 CD boxed set of DVR called "Down in Washington Square". It's great that the Coen Brothers did this project.

Everytime I'm watching a weird, weird movie that I kinda like, I usually assume it's a Coen film until proved other-wise. Big Fan....

An odd movie to say the least, it is a Coen Bros film after all.
