I'm not a 15" user, but I saw the Weber is offering a 15" Blue Dog. I don't remember seeing that on his site before - is that new?

I think that's a new thing. I remember hearing talk about it a while ago. Seems like a good move, considering there's not a lot of "British" 15" offerings out there.
The Eminence Big Ben comes to mind, but that's about it off the top of my head. My guess is that the 15" Blue Dog will be a big seller for folks who want a little more English in their Vibroverbs, tweed Pros, etc. I bet a MAZ 38 and a 15" Blue would be pretty darn cool.

Oh man, I've got a 115 cab. I'd love to hear someone's comments on the b-dog that has tried one!

Just found out that it's been in production for a about two weeks. Good move, since Celestion doesn't make one! (Although I'm sure they will follow... )

Does anyone know how much are they going for? From " AlNiCo Blue Dog 15 $185.00 Classic AlNiCo Vox Tone in a 15" 15", 40oz boosted AlNiCo magnet, 15, 30, or 50 watts, 1-3/4" voice coil, ribbed cone. Bright, big natural bottom, clear, lots of british chime and ring, compresses/fattens at high volumes." " Ceramic Blue Dog 15 $100.00 Classic Vox Blue tone with ceramic punch and big low end 15", 50oz Ceramic magnet, 15, 30, or 50 watts, 1-3/4" voice coil, ribbed cone. Bright, clear, big natural low end, lots of chime and ring, detail that doesn't get hard or harsh at high volumes, more headroom than the AlNiCo version."

This is in response to many people being interested in a Weber "Blue" sound for 15" and 8" setups. I'll let you know on the 8" as I have one coming for my Zvex Nano.
