Z- Forum should welcome one of my favorite artists/guitarists, Peter Parcek, who will soon be a Dr. Z Carmen Ghia owner and hopefully become a Dr. Z Z-Forum Member! www.peterparcekband.com/"Peter has shared the stage with a wide range of artists including The Grateful Dead, Sheryl Crow, Roy Buchanan, and recording and touring as guitarist and bandleader for legendary Muddy Waters pianist Pinetop Perkins." Peter has twice won the Boston Blues Society's Blues Challenge - once in 2002 with his trio and in 2004 with the duo Forty Four. Will be glad when he joins Z-Talk!

Just checked Peter out on the Saturday Night Blues on WGBH special here in Boston. WOW!!! is a all I can say. Probably one of the best guitarists I've heard since hearing BW.
If you haven't been to his site, you have to check him out and also check out his other band Dragonfly.
An absolute amazing gutiarist and all around awesome guy!

Peter is playing at the Lizard Lounge in Cambridge, MA on Friday for anyone wanting to go. I'm definitely there! I think he'll be playing his new Ghia.

Went to the show on friday and - Man! Peter Parcek killed with his playing and tone. That little Ghia head w/ the Z best 2x10 sounded huge. If you get a chance to see this guy - definitely see him- he's one of the best.
