I've done a couple outdoor gigs with the same sound guy recently. JAZ used for all. He never asked me to turn down, which is always refreshing. After the last gig "Man, that amp sounds so sweet. Just right in the mix." I love my JAZ

Cool Doc! What kind of music were you playing if you don't mind me asking?

^^^ Always happy to talk about what we're playing! This was the "rock 'n' roll" band. Strictly covers: Beatles, some Stones, Motown and Stax/Volt, Elvis (both P and C), a surf tune or two, etc. Pretty eclectic mix. I used a Tele and a couple pedals, which only come into play a few times. I get most of what I need from the JAZ set pretty clean as a base tone (with the guitar vol dialed down some) and then just move around pickups and gtr tone and volume. Hope that's not TMI!

I think one of the finest things about having a JAZ 20/40 - is when you come back to it after a stint with one of your "other" amps - it just sounds so fantastic, right from the get-go. Really reminds you of why you wanted to add it to your collection in the first place.
cheers

^^^ Speaking of that, it's about time I get it back out for a few gigs.
