Well I ordered the MAZ 38NR head today,I already have the JR,after doing a little reading through the forum I read where the SR has less low end thump than the JR,now I'm concerned and wonder if I made the right decision,I will be using with a 2x12 cabinet with V30 and G12H speakers, can someone offer their thoughts. Thanks

Just listen to BW's playing. He has no problem with his bottom end! Most times it his MAZ 38.

I have both in combo form...the speaker(s) can make a lot of difference, but amp-wise, I don't feel that one has more inherent low end than the other. I felt my 38 had a bit too much low end until I got the stock G12H30 out of there and found something I liked better.

Plenty of low end available in the 38, trust me. I play through a 2x12 with a Blue/Gold, and I still get enough meat on bottom.
