Well I finally did it. I ordered a head cabinet for my JAZZ and swapped the chassis from my 2x10 combo to the new cabinet. It is a JAZZ/EZG-50 cabinet and I got it from Dr. Z so, of course it was a perfect fit. The fan mounting brackets required some modification in order to install it and that was a tight fit. The guys at Dr. Z tell me that they didn't even put a fan in the head cabinet. Oh, well. It's in there now. I have converted the combo cabinet to use with the head (back baffle, speaker jack, and plugged the hole in the front) and they look great together since both have the oval opening. Now they are much nicer to haul around. The cabinet cost a little more than I could have gotten it elsewhere but the covering and grill are an exact match and I didn't have to worry about the fit.

Cool! Converting to a head/cab is a good idea, it's a heavy amp. Oh, btw, it's JAZ (with one Z, it's named after the Doc's dad, not after the music genre). Not trying to be rude, just a friendly FYI...
