The only thing wrong with a guitar like that is, you could never play beleiveable blues toonz on such an ornate guitar. I have a Guild with turquoise, red coral, onyx and silver inlays and I played the blues at a club. An old guy came up to me after a set and said, "Boy, with a guitar like that I don't think you ever had the blues." I love nice inlays... In the 70's and 80's I had an Ibanez Professional Bob Weir model 8061.

It won't get played. I'm sure an investor/collector will end up with it. But that is a beautiful instrument.

"You can imagine the hush that comes over a store when an instrument with a list price in the six figures is delivered." For me, all I can imagine is the icy slowing of my blood as I realized how much even a single ding or surface scratch would devalue the instrument. More like: "You can imagine the loosening of our bowels that occurs in a store when an instrument with a list price in the six figures is delivered." No offense. It's just crazy.
